Lexington, Ky. – Aug. 20, 2022 – Equitation riders entered the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park Saturday afternoon for the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show. Some of the country’s top junior competitors took to the stage to showcase their extensive skill sets in hopes of acquiring precious points towards the 2022 indoors season finals. The course invited the junior riders to demonstrate their technique through a long bending line off of a short turn and multiple tight roll back turns. A total of 12 riders were called back for a flat phase to contest for the win. In the end it was Avery Glynn aboard Gambler B who rode to top honors in the ASPCA Maclay, besting a field of 26 competitors. Kat Fuqua and Class Act rode to second place, while Blythe Goguen and Kinfolk claimed the yellow ribbon.
