Farrington Flies to Third Credit Suisse Grand Prix Win With Voyeur

Geneva, SUI – Dec. 8, 2017 – Friday night at CHI Geneva saw the Credit Suisse Grand Prix, one of the most important jumping competitions, to qualify for the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday.

The track tested 16 efforts over 13 obstacles with 22 starting positions for the Rolex Grand Prix. The Italian Emilio Bicocchi was the first to qualify for the jump-off, followed shortly after by Mark McCauley from Ireland, and many more, including Swiss riders Werner Muff, Martin Fuchs and Steve Guerdat. In addition, Luciana Diniz, Laura Kraut, Penélope Leprevost and the young Karen Polle, also finish with zero faults,  to reach the jump-off.

Daniel Bluman set the benchmark high in the jump-off with a very fast time of 37.06 seconds, but it was the World No.1 and defending champion Kent Farrington who showed the course could be ridden even faster. In the saddle of Voyeur, he reached the fastest time of 36.42 seconds to win the Credit Suisse Grand Prix for the third time. All riders qualified for the jump-off as well as the four following placed have secured their ticket for the start at the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday.
